Community Outreach Specialist Role

This position is part of our Night Support program, which operates Friday and Saturday nights to provide assistance to vulnerable individuals.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish a safe environment for intoxicated people during night shifts.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and communications.
  • Administer first aid when necessary and facilitate referrals to relevant services.
  • Provide information on local resources and support as needed.
Key Requirements
  • A strong commitment to supporting vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, and maintain accurate records.
  • Prior experience working with people under the influence of alcohol and other substances will be highly regarded.
  • Certifications in first aid and CPR are essential.
Compliance and Certifications
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A current Working with Children card (Blue Card).
  • A current national Police Check.
