Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to play a vital role in keeping machines and business moving.

This key frontline position involves providing excellent service to customers, ensuring accurate and timely information regarding parts needs.

  • Locate Cat parts for customers and technicians.
  • Follow up on outstanding jobs related to parts inquiries and customer concerns.
Main Responsibilities:

Front Counter Enquiries: Respond to customer enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Cat Parts Locating: Locate and source Cat parts for customers and technicians.

Outstanding Jobs: Follow up on outstanding jobs related to parts inquiries and customer concerns.

System-Based Parts Interpreting: Use a variety of digital and print resources to interpret parts requirements.

Parts Warehousing Tasks: Perform tasks such as receiving, order picking, and dispatching parts.

Account Receivable Processes: Ensure company accounts receivable processes are adhered to in relation to parts sales transactions.

Display Area Operation: Assist with the operation of display areas and stock cleanliness.

Requirements:

Priorities: True passion for customer service, willingness and desire to learn and develop into being a Cat Parts Specialist.

Skills: Mechanical knowledge and background in earthmoving and/or automotive preferable, exceptional communication skills with positive and enthusiastic attitude, proficient in Microsoft applications, experience working on different kinds of systems/databases, excellent organisational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks.
