About This Role

This Asset Management Specialist position is crucial for driving growth and maturity within the company's asset management practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic advisory services to the executive team and developing programs of work to support this goal.

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy to enhance the company's asset management capabilities and maturity.
  • Conduct a thorough assessment and gap analysis of existing asset management practices against the ISO:55000 framework.
  • Establish clear policies and procedures for implementation in line with the ISO:55000 standard.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives for the asset management system.
  • Create an asset management plan that covers all aspects of the capability lifecycle.
  • Clearly define roles and responsibilities within the asset management team.
  • Develop a competence and training framework to ensure the team has the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Establish effective communication and consultation channels and processes related to asset management.
  • Validate documentation management processes to ensure asset management documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
  • Develop processes to monitor, measure, analyze, and evaluate the performance of the asset management system against established objectives and KPIs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing change.
  • Coordinate internal audits to ensure readiness for formal certification and address any identified issues or non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with external auditors to achieve certification and maintain it through scheduled activities and processes.
