About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Trade Qualified Spray Painter to fill this critical role in our team.

This is a full-time position that requires the successful candidate to undertake quality workmanship to ensure vehicles are returned to their pre-accident condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Colour mix and match vehicle after vehicle has been prepared and is scheduled for painting
  • Build and maintain colour library
  • Prep, prime and paint vehicle as per Job Sheet requirements following paint supplier's process
  • Buff and denib vehicle
  • Handle all vehicles with due care and attention
  • Notate any extra paint work required that is not quoted for
  • Report any old damage or poor previous repairs to production manager
  • Clean work bay and workshop areas
  • Coach apprentices when required
About You:

Trade qualified Spray Painter with a minimum of 3 years experience working as a trade qualified Spray Painter

You must have a strong commitment to working in a safe manner.

Excellent communication skills are essential.

A high level of attention to detail is also required.

You will need to be able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team.

The ability to meet strict deadlines is crucial.

Reliability, punctuality and a hardworking attitude are necessary for success in this role.

You will be required to own tools to fulfil the role.
