Genuity seeks an experienced Account Manager to join our team at our Brisbane City Office. As a key member of our commercial energy solutions team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our large commercial & industrial customers.

This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams, including finance, trading, and risk.

The ideal candidate will have a challenger mindset and a winning attitude, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality service to customers and driving business growth.

This role is part-time, 3-4 days per week, with the opportunity for flexible hours. If you're passionate about energy and customer-centricity, we encourage you to apply.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and drive growth through strategic partnerships and relationship-building
  • Contract Management: Oversee contract management processes to ensure effective customer engagement and timely completion of contracts
  • Customer Proposal Development: Develop tailored proposals to meet customer needs and preferences
  • Customer Health Check Monitoring: Regularly assess customer health and develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional support to customers, addressing their queries and resolving issues promptly and efficiently
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records and generate reports on customer interactions and sales performance
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in account management within the energy or related industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results-driven solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in report writing and computer software
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, achieving goals within deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and stakeholders throughout the business
  • Self-motivated and sound decision-making skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
