The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting consistent workflows within their department, ensuring the use of appropriate tools and technology to deliver high-quality work efficiently. You will define workflows, set standards for the Compositing Pipeline, and engage in the creative process with a positive attitude and an excellent aesthetic eye.

Collaboration with other departments and communication across international teams are key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement efficient workflows within the Compositing department.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of compositing techniques and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive creative solutions.
• Engage in regular performance reviews and mentorship to foster growth and excellence within the team.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

• A deep understanding of compositing within high-end film and television VFX.
• Extensive experience in the VFX industry, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
• Supervision and management experience in VFX, with a strong focus on team leadership and collaboration.
• Proficiency in Nuke, understanding of lighting and rendering software, and knowledge of Houdini.
• Strong problem-solving and initiative-taking skills, with a proactive approach to resolving complex issues.

Desirable Qualifications:

Prior experience working with development teams and knowledge of Python and programming would be highly beneficial in this role.
