Cost Control Lead Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled Cost Control Lead to join our team in Adelaide. As a key member of our Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading the cost control function across multiple projects, ensuring that costs are accurately tracked and managed to deliver successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost control procedures to monitor and manage project expenses
  • Track actual costs against budgeted figures and analyze variances
  • Prepare regular cost reports, forecasts, and financial summaries for stakeholders
  • Collaborate with project managers and finance teams to optimize cost efficiency
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend corrective actions

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience with a minimum of 5+ years working in a Cost Control/Project Controls role
  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of Cost Control and Project Controls
  • Experience working in the infrastructure (marine, ship yards, civil) and the Defence sector
  • Experience of managing multiple concurrent projects at various stages of delivery
