Job Opportunity

We are seeking an Automation Engineer to optimize Goods-To-Person automation platforms in a high-output distribution centre.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Maximize output and ensure consistent lead times by analyzing system and operational data.
  • Support preventative maintenance activities and weekday servicing to maintain peak performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, DC operations, and planning to align labour and automation strategies.
Requirements for Success
  • A degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is required.
  • Natural leadership qualities, demonstrated by leading a team even outside the workplace, are essential.
  • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail is necessary for success.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Excel, data analysis, and clear communication are mandatory.
  • Familiarity with automation systems (e.g. Schaefer/SSI) is beneficial.
