About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to clients in their homes, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing support with daily tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Assisting clients with health issues, including medication management and medical appointments.
  • Supporting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assisting clients with transportation to appointments and social activities.
  • Providing companionship and social support to clients.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and their families.
Requirements:
  • Dedication and reliability.
  • Well-developed organisational and communication skills.
  • Capacity to adapt to a variety of situations and work as part of a motivated team.
  • Ability to work within the relevant Client guidelines.
  • Adherence to legislation and StellarCare's Policies and Procedures.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Current CPR Certificate.
  • Clear NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certificate III or Higher in Disability, Aged Care, or Individual Support.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of $75,000 - $80,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
