Role Overview

This is a key position within our Central Sterilising Department, reporting to the Team Leader. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services to stakeholders.

Working as part of a dynamic team, you will contribute to the provision of high-quality patient care, by supporting and coaching colleagues within the department.

This exciting opportunity will see you work on our evening shift, Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm. As the CSSD Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading daily staff huddles/meetings, ensuring effective communication and coordination across the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise within the CSSD unit, demonstrating specialized knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various units and departments to support daily operations and organisational activities.
  • Foster positive relationships and cooperation with peers to facilitate a seamless patient journey.
Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of AS/NZS5369:2023 compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated people management and leadership experience in a CSSD setting.
