About the Role



Ventia is seeking a Safety and Wellbeing Specialist to join our team in the Justice contract. This is a full-time permanent position working out of our Canning Vale office with site visits when required.

About the Job



Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide support, advice and direction for Senior Management Team and Officers.
  • Promote an organisational culture that empowers all personnel to be involved in SHEQ matters and to pro-actively take action to reduce risk and to protect people and the environment.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.


About You



We are looking for someone with:


  • A Tertiary Qualification in Workplace / Occupation Health and Safety.
  • Relevant experience as a safety professional.
  • Detailed knowledge of SHEQ legislation, regulatory requirements, and ISO standards.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A passion for promoting a culture of safety and health.
