Our client is a leading agribusiness with sophisticated citrus operations. They are seeking skilled individuals to fill citrus picking positions at their farming site.

As a Citrus Picker, you will work in a farming environment, primarily outdoors. You will be exposed to various weather conditions and must be physically fit and strong enough to withstand these conditions.

Remuneration will be under the Agri Labour Australia Horticulture Agreement 2016 - Level 1. Work will be on a piece rate basis, with a minimum hourly rate of $29.33 per hour. You will be required to work at least 120 hours every 4 weeks during your placement.

Key Responsibilities:

Safe and efficient picking of citrus, meeting productivity and quality requirements. You may also be required to perform other general horticulture farmhand duties as needed.

Requirements:


  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • No asthma or dust allergies
  • Physically fit and comfortable with labour-intensive duties
  • Comfortable working in various weather conditions
  • Able to follow directions and work unsupervised while showing high levels of initiative
  • A team player and happy working with a multicultural team
