Opportunity for a Biostatistics Expert

The International Society for Bayesian Analysis is seeking a highly skilled Biostatistics Expert to join our team. As a leading organization in the field of Bayesian statistics, we are committed to advancing knowledge and innovation in research design.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in an academic field relevant to biostatistics and a developing research profile in biostatistics and/or related fields of practice. They will have a demonstrated familiarity with statistical software, including R, and experience in MCMC simulation using Stan and/or JAGS.

The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator and have experience in supervising or mentoring others and/or coordinating team activities. They will also have a developing network of relationships with academic, consumer/advocacy, industry, and/or professional organizations, partners, and stakeholders.

The Biostatistics Expert will be responsible for collaborating with our cross-disciplinary team of clinicians, statisticians, data scientists, and informaticians to design and analyze transformative clinical research. They will also work to build the methodologic basis for further innovation in research design.

We are looking for a motivated and emerging academic in Bayesian statistics who is passionate about advancing knowledge and innovation in research design.
