Objective
Nursing Specialist - Child, Adolescent & Youth Mental Health ServicesThis position involves delivering time-limited, specific, evidence-based, community-focused person-centred care to children, adolescents, and their families. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to person-centred care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team structure.
- Acknowledging the interconnectedness of physical and emotional health, clinicians deliver individual and group-based treatment and manage individual clinical loads while participating as part of a multidisciplinary treatment process.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of expertise in mental health assessment and treatment planning, with the ability to provide specialist nursing care that promotes positive health outcomes.
About this Role
- Temporary Full Time
- Child, Adolescent & Youth Mental Health Services
- Delivery of evidence-based interventions and case management to achieve optimal health outcomes for clients and families
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised treatment plans
- Identification and prioritisation of client needs and development of effective treatment strategies
- Maintenance of accurate and timely records of client interactions and progress
Requirements
- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Valid NSW Drivers Licence
