Packaging Specialist

About this Position

We are seeking a skilled and innovative professional to lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge packaging solutions. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in packaging engineering, with expertise in design, testing, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Packaging Solutions: Create innovative packaging designs that meet international standards for quality, functionality, cost, sustainability, safety, and compliance.
  • Promotional Activities: Design packaging for promotional activities, ensuring alignment with brand and market requirements.
  • Packaging Validation and Qualification: Conduct performance and compatibility testing, and approve technical aspects of packaging artworks.
  • Packaging Specification Management: Maintain and manage packaging specification databases, including measurements and statistical analysis.
  • Research and Development: Identify and assess new materials or technologies that support cost reduction, process improvement, and complexity reduction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Packaging Engineering or Related Field: A degree in packaging engineering or a related field such as chemical, mechanical, or biochemical engineering.
  • Experience in Packaging Role: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a packaging role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience with measurement and testing equipment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with design and statistical tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and relevant analysis software.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and collaborative mindset.
