About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Specialist to join our team on the Gold Coast. As a Personal Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients, providing them with the support and care they need to live independently.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Clients with Daily Living Activities: Showering, dressing, grooming, and medication prompts
  • Domestic Assistance: Light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Social Support/Transportation: Social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
  • Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment including standing or walking frames, wheelchairs, manual or electric hoists, sliding sheets or moving boards, hearing aids, and other physical aids
  • Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs
  • Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
Requirements
  • Certificate III or above in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent
  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
  • Smartphone with internet access
