Software Development Expert

Cuscal is a pioneering organization in the payments industry, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that push boundaries. We're seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of groundbreaking applications.

As a member of our Core Service Domain, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software solutions that meet user requirements according to approved IT standards and best practices.

  • Develop technical specifications and program design documents to meet user requirements and functional specifications.
  • Analyze user needs and support application and system design.
  • Design, develop, and test software solutions that meet user requirements.
  • Adhere to architecture, design, implementation, and security standards and best practices.
  • Develop reusable software building blocks to enable faster delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in full-stack development with a focus on Angular, React, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Apache Tomcat.
  • Familiarity with design patterns.
  • Experience with AWS cloud platforms and services.
  • Webservices (REST & SOAP).
  • Micro-services implemented using Spring Boot.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Awareness of automated unit & integration testing frameworks.
  • Understanding security concepts within APIs security.
  • Understanding CI/CD pipelines and test automation, and application deployments.
  • Understanding of virtualisation and container orchestration technologies such as Docker.
  • Awareness of secure authentication frameworks.
