About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Professional to join our team in Newcastle. This permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and development.

In this role, you will be an integral member of our Customer Service team, reporting directly to the Team Leader. Your primary responsibilities will include providing exceptional phone and email customer service, sales, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and respond to inbound calls and email inquiries from commercial and domestic customers
  • Proactively engage with existing customers through outbound calls to promote our products and services
  • Schedule technicians' days to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Resolve customer queries promptly and accurately, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Schedule appointments for residential customers, ensuring seamless service delivery
  • Convert incoming inquiries into sales opportunities, driving business growth
  • Liaise effectively with colleagues to achieve team objectives
  • Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with company standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in customer service or call centre environments (essential)
  • Demonstrated expertise in phone sales and converting inquiries into sales
  • Proficient in working with multiple database systems and email programs, with experience in word and spreadsheet packages desirable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work calmly under pressure, multitasking with ease
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting colleagues as needed
  • Professional, reliable, and punctual, with a strong work ethic
  • Accurately enter data into systems, maintaining data integrity
