Job Opportunity

This role involves overseeing the entire logistics and supply chain management process, ensuring seamless operations across multiple ports in Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of container logistics and intermodal operations, with experience in managing teams, streamlining processes, and optimizing inventory management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of professionals to achieve operational excellence and improve service efficiency.
  • Developing and implementing effective logistics strategies to reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant execution of container transport and processing of related invoices.
  • Driving cost-control initiatives and managing container stock imbalances and idle assets across regions.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, International Business, or Supply Chain/Logistics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to quickly adapt to internal systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and strategic decision-making capabilities.
  • Proven experience working under pressure in fast-paced environments.
