We are seeking a highly skilled Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Cardiologist to work in a leading healthcare service undergoing significant growth and transformation. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing evidence-based patient care and shaping the future of the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive non-invasive cardiology care across inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services.
- Work within a dynamic team offering echocardiography, stress imaging, cardiac CT, heart failure services, cardiac rehab, and chest pain clinics.
- Participate in ward rounds, telehealth, outreach clinics, MDTs, and on-call rosters.
- Contribute to service innovation, clinical quality, and participate in research and teaching activities.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification.
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Cardiology, or equivalent.
- Subspecialty training in Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging with Level 2 Adult Echocardiography accreditation (CSANZ or equivalent).
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and minimum echo volumes at Level 2 CSANZ competency.
- Academic/research experience.
- Highly desirable: Qualification in Cardiac CT and/or Cardiac MRI.
