MAYDAY Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced People and Culture professional to support the development of organisational structures within a NSW Government client.

About the Role

This role will involve collaborating with business stakeholders to create detailed position descriptions that align with organisational changes and meet compliance standards.

The successful candidate will have strong report-writing skills, experience in job design, and a proven ability to provide specialist advice on organisational development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create accurate and detailed position descriptions that reflect business objectives and comply with organisational frameworks.
  • Partner with business teams and subject matter experts to collect and interpret job information, turning it into clear position descriptions.
  • Collaborate with P&C teams to ensure consistency in role descriptions, maintain compliance with guidelines, and keep the RD library up-to-date.
  • Offer guidance on job design concepts and position descriptions, suggesting solutions that align with business needs, organisational structure, and compliance standards.
  • Perform research and analysis, including market comparisons and organisational impact assessments, to inform job design strategies and decision-making processes.
Requirements
  • Several years of experience in the P&C space, with a proven ability to provide specialist advice and develop processes related to organisational development.
  • Experience in a similar role that involved writing detailed reports/job descriptions.
  • Australian working rights are essential.
