Estimated Salary: AU$110,000 - AU$140,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh, SA. As an essential member of our maintenance organisation, you will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance activities, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring the airworthiness of our fleet.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on aircraft, including inspections, repairs, and replacements
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and rectify system malfunctions
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve maintenance objectives and ensure efficient workflow
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant aviation regulations, standards, and documentation
  • Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Cert IV Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent issued by a Registered Training Organisation
  • High-Level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and its applicability in the relevant environment
  • Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices
  • Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications
  • Ability to obtain a B level Military Aircraft Maintenance License
  • High-level communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High-level computer skills in Microsoft Office applications

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to be an exceptional team player with excellent stakeholder engagement and expectation management skills. You must also have good verbal and written communication skills, be eager to learn, and able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines. Additionally, you should be comfortable working in a continuous improvement work environment and integrated with military personnel locally and in deployed locations (as required by the Customer).
