Join Hume City Council as a Digital Transformation Specialist and contribute to shaping the future of our organization.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is part of our efforts to drive digital transformation across the council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Change Manager in delivering end-to-end organizational change management initiatives.

You will conduct change impact assessments to identify the effects of proposed changes on various business areas and develop comprehensive change management plans to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of changes within the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough change impact assessments to analyze potential effects of proposed changes on various business areas.
  • Develop and document change management plans, including stakeholder engagement strategies, communication plans, and training materials.
  • Assist in creating and executing change readiness assessments and adoption monitoring activities.
  • Monitor and improve the performance of communication activities against strategic priorities and Transformation objectives, aligning with best practice tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with the Change Manager to develop and implement comprehensive communication plans for the program, ensuring alignment with change management objectives.
  • Identify key stakeholders affected by change initiatives and develop strategies to gain their buy-in and support.
  • Support the development and delivery of communication materials to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the change process.
  • Identify and escalate risks and issues related to change initiatives that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
  • Develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks and issues.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Change Analyst or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Proficiency in-service demand modelling, analysing impacts to services, and formulating clear understandings for relevant stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Well-developed facilitation and communication skills to establish productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication skills to produce correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops, exploring opportunities, and resolving issues, understanding user requirements, and conducting analysis.

A competitive annual salary of $107,811.66 - $119,457.63 plus superannuation in accordance with qualifications and experience.
