Student Wellbeing Support Role

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Student Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team and support the holistic wellbeing of our male student cohort. The successful candidate will champion proactive health promotion, pastoral care, timely interventions, and counselling across mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual domains.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Student Wellbeing Coordinator will provide one-on-one or group support to students to evaluate their mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs. This role involves direct counselling, as well as supporting student wellbeing through various tasks such as lunch-time clubs, meeting with parents and teachers, organising external referrals, and preparing talks for parents.

Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require relevant qualifications in counselling, psychology, social work, or a related field. Extensive experience in counselling young people is essential, with high-risk young people being highly regarded. Clinical supervision of Masters students undergoing supervised professional counselling practice is also desirable. High-level interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary, along with a commitment to Health and Safety. You must also enjoy working in a team environment and be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College's programs and opportunities.
