AECOM Opportunity for a Senior Urban Planner


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Urban Planner to join our Planning Team, with a focus on delivering high-profile projects across various sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urban and regional planning, with a proven ability to work on large-scale projects.


About the Role


This is an exciting opportunity for a senior planner to work alongside our experienced team, providing support to internal and external clients. The successful candidate will have the ability to:



  • Assist in preparing and managing development applications, Master Plans, and Code Amendments.
  • Support major transport, infrastructure, and renewable energy projects.
  • Engage with stakeholders and provide timely, accurate, and professional planning advice.

Key Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will have:



  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Planning, with a focus on urban and regional planning.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in Strategic and/or Statutory / Land Use Planning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivation, ability to prioritize competing demands, and commercial awareness.
