Marsh is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Corporate Account Manager in our Melbourne office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Principal with a strong background in account management in Property and Casualty to join our Corporate team and manage a large complex Melbourne based corporate account.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of risks and controls across various business areas, as well as the ability to step straight into a portfolio of our largest and most complex accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with insurers at a senior level.
  • Maintain a portfolio of key revenue generating accounts.
  • Ensure a high degree of quality customer service is provided to all clients.
  • Manage the relationship development and coordination of product and service solutions specific to a group of accounts.
  • Lead, plan and implement clear and effective renewal and broking strategies.
  • Ensure that effective account retention and defence strategies are in place for all clients at all times to promote client retention.
  • Maintain an active and direct involvement in all claim related matters.
  • Track and report on new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to continual process improvement, constantly challenging ways of operating with innovative ideas and solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Corporate broking experience.
  • Strong market presence within General Insurance.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
