Field Officer Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising a team of clients at community work sites and other community work programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of clients at community work sites and other community work programs
  • Perform site inspections to assess hazards and provide informed workplace health and safety advice
  • Maintain tools and equipment registers and ensure repairs are undertaken
  • Transport clients in a 12-seater bus with trailer

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety practices and their practical application
  • Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate a range of tasks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage conflict
  • Carpentry or handyman skills (desirable)
  • Gardening landscaping or painting skills (desirable)
