Executive Director Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the development of a world-class entertainment and tourism destination in Saudi Arabia.

This role offers a unique chance to shape the future of leisure, tourism, and mega-venue experiences in the region.

The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end development and delivery of large-scale entertainment, theme park, hospitality, and destination assets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the full development lifecycle of entertainment, theme park, hospitality, and mixed-use assets from visioning and masterplanning through to delivery and operational handover.
  • Driving the design, development, and integration of theme parks, live entertainment venues, cultural attractions, luxury hospitality, retail, and lifestyle destinations.
  • Overseeing complex stakeholder management with consultants, operators, contractors, and government entities to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to world-class standards.
  • Providing strategic leadership on phasing, positioning, and commercial planning for entertainment and hospitality assets, ensuring alignment with destination goals and the Kingdom's vision.
  • Ensuring global best practice in guest experience, safety, sustainability, and operational readiness across all venues and assets.
  • Acting as an executive representative to investors, boards, and government stakeholders, providing transparent governance and reporting on project performance.

Ideal candidate profile:

  • 15+ years' senior leadership experience in destination development, theme parks, hospitality, or large-scale entertainment and venue projects.
  • Proven track record as a Development Director, Executive Director, or Project Director on mega/giga projects or globally recognized entertainment/venue developments.
  • Strong background in theme park/venue design management, entertainment project delivery, and integration with hospitality and mixed-use assets.
  • Familiarity with global operators, IP/licensing partners, and large-scale event/venue delivery a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate government, investor, and operator relationships in a high-profile environment.
  • Inspirational leadership style with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams across design, development, and operations.
