About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Outside School Hours Care Coordinator to lead our growing service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, including staffing, administration, and financial management tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Management: Oversee the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, and educational program, ensuring a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children.
  • Leadership: Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families, promoting the service within the local community in accordance with our Vision, Mission, and Values.
  • Program Development: Develop and implement programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, families, and staff, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Team Development: Foster a positive and supportive team culture, promoting professional development and growth opportunities for staff members.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and partners, promoting the service and its values.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
  • Certifications: Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place. Effective computer skills, including experience with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
  • Leadership: Proven leadership and team development skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff members.
