Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of staff onsite and subcontractors through effective management of HSE processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborate with staff and subcontractors to promote a culture of safety and prevent workplace incidents
  • Investigate and report on all incidents and near misses
  • Provide training and support to staff on HSE-related matters

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within the commercial, manufacturing or construction industry
  • Certificate IV in WHS (Diploma or higher is desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of Western Australian HSE legislation and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
