Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Proactive Services team at Woolworths Roselands. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of cleaning and trolley collection staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of cleaning and trolley collection staff
  • Create a roster for the team to ensure all daily tasks and operations are covered
  • Work with the Store Leadership teams to identify challenges, areas of opportunity, and upcoming priorities
  • Develop succession plans through coaching to increase team productivity and improve overall satisfaction
  • Complete time and attendance activities for team members, such as tracking hours, managing absences, and ensuring compliance with company policy
  • Order all consumables for the stores, such as cleaning supplies, and maintain these within a budget
  • Work as part of the Proactive Services team, providing cleaning, trolley collection, and waste management services
Requirements
  • Flexibility to work in different environments, such as the shop floor, fridges, freezers, and carparks
  • A good eye for cleanliness and small details
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, as it involves physically demanding tasks
  • The ability to work with other Department Managers and the Store Leadership Team to plan and coordinate routines and timeframes
  • Organisation skills to ensure the team has all the equipment and supplies they need to work safely and efficiently
  • Comfortable working with a regulated framework, such as Food Safety and industrial regulations
  • A valid full Australian driver's license is essential, as you may collect trolleys using our vehicles
