As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be part of a collaborative leadership model that encourages leadership development and growth as a Pedagogy Leader.

About the Centre

Our centre has a strong focus on Connection and Collaboration, prioritizing relationships with colleagues, children, families, and carers, and our local community for a strong Place-based driven engagement and practice.

As a teacher, you will have the opportunity to gain SLOW Pedagogy experience with each age group (15m-3y, 2-4y, 3-5y) and the option to return to 'looping' within Red Hill or develop a succession plan to take on a role as a Centre Director, Assistant Director, Educational Leader, or Early Childhood Teacher at another Goodstart service.

In this role, you will be supported by a mentor to help you grow and develop in your career. We offer regular professional development sessions, including workshops and online discussions, aligned to your career stage and connecting you with peers, mentors, and more experienced teachers.

Your Impact

You will have a significant impact on the lives of children and families at Goodstart Early Learning Red Hill. You will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality early learning programs that support children to achieve optimal outcomes.

As a teacher, you will have the opportunity to co-design the centre's overall program, guided by our Educational Leader. You will also have the opportunity to lead learning and inspire growth, supporting your team's knowledge base and contributing to showcasing practice to our network of professionals.

In this role, you will be immersed in nature, working in our inner-city location backing onto Ithaca Creek. We value our relationships and our commitment to Reconciliation and creating an environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People feel a strong sense of belonging and connection.

Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification
