Job Title: Linux Enablement Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Leader to oversee our Linux enablement projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux, preferably Ubuntu or Debian, and experience in managing software engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Recruit, motivate, mentor, and enable team members to deliver quality products by setting goals, prioritizing tasks, and identifying team health indicators.
  • Project Coordination: Maximize team results and support career growth by coordinating with project managers, HWE, QA, and certification management.
  • Crisis Management: Monitor projects from kickoff to post-mortem, handle escalations, communicate technical challenges with OEMs, ODMs, SiPs, and IHVs.
  • Global Collaboration: Prioritize customer requests globally, collaborate with product engineering teams, and provide leadership for methodologies, strategies, standards, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in STEM, preferably computer science or software engineering.
  • A proven track record in technical roles with Linux.
  • A commitment to development and testing methodologies, maintainable code quality, and global collaboration.
  • Strong English and Chinese language communication skills, both written and verbal.
