The Fun Club Educator plays a crucial role in delivering this mission by providing quality education and care to all children attending the service. This involves building relationships with families, developing and implementing the centre's program, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work harmoniously within a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to workplace health and safety, child protection, and the Quality Improvement and Accreditation System.

As a Fun Club Educator, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families, while also enjoying a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality education and care to all children attending the service
  • Build relationships with families and support their children's learning and development
  • Develop and implement the centre's program to cater for each child's needs
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
  • Assist with day-to-day operational tasks, including supervision, serving meals, and housekeeping

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience working with children
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with children and families
  • Ability to work harmoniously within a team environment
  • A good level of physical fitness
  • Capacity to contribute actively to the efficient and effective operation/development of a high-quality outside school hours care service
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety, an inclusive curriculum, child protection, and the Quality Improvement and Accreditation System
