Lycopodium Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our global team. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil design solutions for mining and metals projects worldwide.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing engineering input into the design of civil earthworks, roads, drainage, and stormwater systems
  • Managing the day-to-day running of civil earthworks design, civil designers, and attending relevant meetings
  • Undertaking engineering calculations and reports
  • Reviewing 2D drawings and 3D project models of civil works, including earthworks, roads, and drainage
  • Reviewing bulk earthworks, volume calculations, and material take-offs (Schedule of Quantities)
  • Collaborating with other discipline team members and consulting firms to ensure suitable integration at discipline interfaces
  • Providing engineering support for construction queries associated with project designs
  • Supporting the Principal Civil Engineer with input into engineering estimates, resource, and schedule management

Requirements include:

  • University Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Civil Engineering
  • Experience in the design of site earthworks, roads, drainage, stormwater, sewerage reticulation, and other minor site infrastructure
  • Experience in the resource sector is preferable but not essential
