Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Response Trainer to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced trainer to design, develop, and deliver emergency response training programs that meet contractual requirements.

The successful candidate will have a background in firefighting and first aid, as well as evidence of skills and competencies to support their fire fighting background.

A strong understanding of emergency services and operational excellence practices is also essential.

In addition, experience in training and people management, with high-risk and diverse emergency response organizations desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deliver emergency response training programs
  • Develop departmental-specific curriculum guidelines
  • Support the development of assessment tools
  • Contribute to the development of training curriculum and learning guides
Requirements
  • Background in firefighting and first aid
  • Evidence matrix of skills and competencies to support fire fighting background
  • Familiarity with emergency services and operational excellence practices
  • Experience in training and people management
Qualifications
  • PUA50120 Diploma of Public Safety (Emergency Management)
  • PUA30622 Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Diploma of Vocational Education & Training desirable)
