Technical Sales Specialist for Western Australia

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in Western Australia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales of our cutting-edge scientific instruments to clients in industry and academia.
Key Responsibilities:- Cold Calling and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new accounts, leads, and sales opportunities through strategic prospecting efforts.
- Direct Sales and Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to customers and drive sales of our laboratory instrumentation.
- Customer Account Management: Manage existing customer accounts and generate new revenue through strategic prospecting and effective lead/funnel management.
- Client Engagement: Conduct regular customer site visits to consult on the best measurement solution, perform instrument demonstrations, and deliver compelling sales presentations.
- Administrative Duties: Prepare detailed quotes, manage CRM system, and regularly report on territory performance.
- Travel Requirements: Engage in overnight travel (approximately 20%) and occasional international travel for product training.
- Educational Background: Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or similar.
- Sales Experience: Minimum of 3 years in technical sales and business development preferably involving analytical instrumentation.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively across various organisational levels.
- Technical Aptitude: Confident in demonstrating measurement equipment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Licenses: Valid driver's license and ownership of a well-maintained vehicle.
