Position Overview

As a vital member of the multidisciplinary team, you will deliver nursing care for diagnostic and interventional imaging across various hospital settings. Your responsibilities will include both scrub and scout nursing roles as required in modalities such as CT, US, FL, PET, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and DSA. You will monitor clinical changes in patients' conditions and consult with the appropriate medical and nursing professionals as necessary. When faced with challenges beyond your expertise, you will seek guidance from senior nursing staff.

Compensation for this role will be classified within the range of YP3 - YP9 ($69, $92,601.60 pro rata per annum).

Qualifications and Skills

  • A degree in general nursing that fulfills the registration criteria of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Current Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical Imaging
  • Current National criminal history check, or willingness to obtain

About Medical Imaging
Our Medical Imaging department operates across three sites and is committed to evidence-based practices. We collaborate as a multidisciplinary team, including administrative staff, radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, and Nuclear Medicine Technologists, to achieve optimal outcomes for our patients.
