UI/UX Designer for Immersive Game Experience

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to craft the look and feel of our upcoming game, Nanites. This is a unique opportunity to join a small, passionate team that values innovation, high-quality work, and creative freedom.

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled UI/UX Designer who can design clear, stylish, and immersive interfaces for gameplay, inventory, menus, and HUDs. The ideal candidate will have experience designing interfaces for PC and/or console games and be familiar with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and documenting UI/UX standards for consistency, collaborating with game designers, programmers, and artists to implement UI in Unreal Engine 5, and creating user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.

You will also be expected to use player feedback and playtesting to iterate and improve designs, ensuring UI supports gameplay clarity, accessibility, and thematic cohesion, and balance clean usability with immersive, gritty aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and prototype game UI screens (HUD, menus, inventory, skill trees, etc.)
  • Define and document UI/UX standards for consistency
  • Collaborate with game designers, programmers, and artists to implement UI in Unreal Engine 5
  • Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
  • Use player feedback and playtesting to iterate and improve designs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong visual design skills with a portfolio showing UI/UX work (games preferred)
  • Experience designing interfaces for PC and/or console games
  • Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools
  • Good understanding of user-centered design principles
  • Experience working with Unreal Engine 5 (or willingness to learn UI implementation in it)
  • Self-motivated, good communicator, and team-oriented

All contributors are independent contractors, and we currently do not generate revenue, but contributors will be compensated based on the net revenue-sharing model once revenue is generated.
