Job Title: Personal Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Worker to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist residents with their daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance. You will also play a key role in delivering meals and engaging in meaningful social interactions to promote the emotional well-being of our residents.

About the Role

  • You will work closely with our nursing team to observe and report any changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions.
  • You will assist residents with their personal care needs in a respectful and dignified manner, promoting their independence and dignity at all times.
  • You will participate in recreational activities and social events to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
  • You will maintain accurate documentation of care provided to ensure seamless communication between staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support residents with mobility and transfers, promoting their independence and safety.
  • Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional conditions to the nursing team.
  • Participate in recreational activities and social events to enhance residents' quality of life.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.

Requirements:

  • Caring and compassionate nature, with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of elderly individuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Diploma or certificate in aged care or related field (desired but not required).
