Outside School Hours Care Educator

This role involves delivering exceptional care and education to children in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding experiences for children, families, and staff.
  • Collaborate with the service manager to prepare and deliver services that meet the needs of children and their families.
  • Assist with food preparation and setting up/packing up activities to ensure a safe and engaging environment for children.
  • Supervise children at all times and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety within the program.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • A strong background in childcare or a related field is highly desirable but not essential. We are open to applications from individuals who are willing to pursue further education and training.
  • Completion of an ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma level qualification is highly regarded. If you do not currently hold this qualification, we encourage you to apply if you are working towards it or willing to enroll in a relevant course.
  • Current HLTAID012 First Aid in a Childcare Setting (including First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training) certification is mandatory.
