The Legal Division of a Commonwealth Department is seeking an experienced Finance and Operations Professional to support their team for a 12-month period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the Division's legal practice under the guidance of the Division's executives.
  • Develop and maintain the Division's precedent database.
  • Coordinate relevant training for Divisional staff on matters including financial obligations and procurement.
  • Prepare data analysis to inform external and internal reporting.
  • Lead the Division's external reporting obligations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in finance and operations management in a Commonwealth setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
