About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Steel Erection Rigger to join our team at HRG. This is a dynamic role that involves working on a major project with a Tier 1 telecom client, upgrading over 4,000 towers across Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation of complex steelwork from shop drawings.
  • Installation of mobile equipment for all major carriers.
  • Ability to lead a team successfully.
  • Installation of telecommunication structures (poles, masts, and towers).
  • Understanding of site drawings.
  • Fault finding and resolution.
  • Ability to work with cranes and EWPs (Elevated Work Platforms).
  • Completion of OH&S (Occupational Health and Safety) documentation.
Requirements
  • Valid Rigging tickets in Australia.
  • Structural knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Telecoms experience not necessary; training will be provided.
  • Candidates based in Brisbane/Gold Coast are preferred to foster strong team relationships and avoid isolation.
