Job Overview

Senior Financial Accountant Role

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to spearhead our Financial Accounting Team as a Senior Financial Accountant.

  • Prepare and distribute monthly and annual financial reports in a timely manner
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of our general ledger, including debtors, creditors, accruals, and fixed assets
  • Maintain strong relationships with external auditors, providing prompt and accurate responses to their queries
  • Develop and implement improvements to reporting systems to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Foster and develop a high-performing accounting team that embraces change and continuous learning
  • Support the development of policies, systems, and procedures across the organization

About You

You will bring exceptional technical accounting skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for driving improvements and mentoring others. You combine a CA or CPA qualification with relevant tertiary education in accounting/finance, a solid understanding of Australian Accounting Standards, and ongoing professional development.
