Job Description

This Permanent Full-time position is available at our Perth Airport Early Learning & Development Service.

The successful applicant will be a Diploma-qualified Educator with a passion for children's development and learning, and experience working effectively within a team.

You will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children, facilitating their learning and development through play-based activities, and building strong relationships with families and colleagues.

As an Educator at Ngala, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families, while also contributing to a positive team culture and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bauild professional and trusted relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Participate in room routines, ensuring they are flexible, responsive, and child-focused.
  • Provide a sense of security, encouragement, and care to individual needs.
  • Work collaboratively with room leaders and educational leaders to deliver high-quality educational programs.
  • SUPPORT A POSITIVE TEAM CULTURE, THAT IS REFLECTIVE AND COMMITTED TO CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
  • Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
  • Demonstrated skills and experience supporting the development and learning of children 0-6 years old.
  • Valid WA Working with Children's Check.
  • Satisfactory National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months.
