About the Opportunity

As a leading Australian energy infrastructure business, APA Group is seeking an experienced Tenure Management Officer to join our team in Perth, Brisbane or Melbourne on a Permanent Full Time contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • We are looking for a skilled professional to oversee the management of databases for new and existing land tenure, agreements, and financial obligations.
  • You will play a key role in resolving outstanding tenure issues, ensuring APA's rights and interests, such as easements, are fully protected.
  • This position requires strong lease-related activities, including renewals, rent reviews, and terminations.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing new leases, co-use deeds, access agreements, and any legal documentation necessary for APA's operations.
  • You will ensure accurate property data and valuations to support correct rates and state land tax assessments.
  • Facilitate clear and timely communication with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on property management and land tenure matters.
Your Background
  • A strong understanding of land tenure systems and legislation across Australian states is essential.
  • Proven ability to research, interpret, and apply relevant legislation as needed.
  • Skilled in preparing and executing legal documents related to land tenure and land use.
  • Proven experience in building positive relationships with private, corporate, and government landholders and their representatives.
  • Advanced skills in stakeholder liaison, negotiation, and influencing, with excellent time management and organisational abilities.
  • A strong commitment to safety, with adherence to safe practices and readiness to travel, including to remote locations.
