Heritage Consultant/Archaeologist

As a Senior Heritage Consultant/Archaeologist, you'll work on a wide variety of projects in both Aboriginal and historical archaeology. You'll join a collaborative team that plans, manages, and delivers projects from start to finish.

The role involves:

  • Planning, managing, and delivering projects, including archaeological assessments, due diligence, site inspections, fieldwork, management plans, and impact statements;
  • Undertaking research and GIS mapping;
  • Managing stakeholder consultation and building strong client relationships;
  • Contributing to proposals, tenders, and cross-disciplinary project delivery;
  • Mentoring and collaborating with team members.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Archaeology or a closely related discipline;
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a heritage consultancy environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality client advice, reports, and budgets;
  • Project and team management experience, including budget management and client liaison;
  • Possession of a valid Australian driver's license, Construction
