Metals Analysis Technician

The Water Resources Group laboratory is seeking a casual Metals Analysis Technician.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and analyze water and soil samples using various techniques
    • Ensure the quality of work meets established standards
    • Meet turn-around requirements for sample analysis
    • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as ICP-MS, ICP-OES, and Liquid Scintillation Counter

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals
