Opportunity Overview

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our team at a major tertiary hospital in Adelaide. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, with a broad spectrum of interests in Emergency Medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department, covering a wide range of adult and pediatric presentations.
  • Collaborate with a friendly and dynamic team of FACEMs, with interests in toxicology, ultrasound, simulation, advanced airway management, and education.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures in Emergency Medicine.
  • Participate in education and training programs for junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA.
  • Hold or be eligible for FACEM.
  • Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Emergency Medicine at a Consultant Level.
  • ACEM trainee soon to obtain FACEM.
  • IMG's who are about to lodge their Specialist Assessment Application with ACEM, or awaiting their ACEM interview, or who have been assessed by ACEM and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
