Salary
The estimated salary for this position is around $55,000-$65,000 per year, based on the role's requirements and industry standards.
Job Description
This permanent opportunity involves working as a Child Care Educator (Cert III) with our team at FW Kerr Kindergarten. You will join our existing passionate team to provide education and care for children with an emphasis on building relationships and creating an inclusive environment where children belong, play, discover, and learn.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children, engaging in activities that support their learning and development, and contributing to maintaining a child-safe culture within our service.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- An ACCEQA recognised Certificate III in Early Childhood
- Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- Current Working with Children Check
- A sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)

- 19 hours per week with breaks
- Shift times: Monday 8:15am-2:00pm, Wednesday 8:15am-2:00pm, Friday 8:00am-3:30pm
- 8 hours of non-contact time per week
- Uniform and first aid allowance paid
